First of all apologies that I am not able to attend this momentous occassion in person. I am celebrating with you in spirit.

Congratulations on the new challenge and opportunity ahead of you. I know you will make a huge success of it. I appreciate your contribution to me during the time we worked together, as well as your enormous contribution to IBM over the past 35 years.

Your commitment and professionalism has been an example to many of your colleagues. I wish you all the very best in your new venture.
