Can't believe you've finally retired! Well, can't say that we're happy about it, but hey, I'll make sure that you left the company in good hands! ;-)

I'm so glad to have met you, and more importantly, worked for you. The things I've seen you do and all that you have accomplished really keeps me motivated. Although I moved on from the original team, it's that same team that put me where I am today. You just kept your eye on the ball [8 ball] and pushed pushed through (see attachment 1). I'll make sure to do the same.

Keep practicing and maybe one day you'll be able to beat me at that blasted game! (just kidding). Although, that being said, I hope that we are able to stay in touch moving forward. In fact it would be great if we could play pool occassionally if nothing else. I still view you as a mentor and role model for my career here at IBM (or where ever it takes me)
