Information graphics or infographics are graphic visual representations of data, information, or knowledge.  The purpose is to present complex information quickly and clearly and to enhance our understanding by using our brain’s ability to recognize trends and patterns.  As the amount of data in the world continues to mushroom, demand will increase for workers with skills in data visualization, information design, and information architecture.  Speaking of jobs in technology, a team of collaborators over at MBA Online are making the case that women are increasingly involved in the tech field, both as consumers and as practitioners.  This should come as no surprise since over half of social media users are women and the average social gamer is a woman in her 40s.  To make the point clear, MBA Online created an infographic.
