IBM’s Patrick Sees Internet Maturing

In a preview to his Wednesday keynote address at Spring Internet World, IBM’s vice president for Internet strategy John Patrick tells reporter Evan Schuman that users and Web site producers are changing the face of the Net. He sees the Web becoming more useful as applications are better integrated, as new search technology makes the Net more intelligent, and as security makes people more trusting of doing business online.
