The Computer Systems Policy Project (CSPP) has released its new paper, Building the Foundation of the Networked World: A Vision for 21st Century Wired and Wireless Broadband. Lou Gerstner, along with other CSPP CEOs, participated in meetings in late January 2002 to present the paper to Congressional leaders and to Vice President Cheney and other senior Administration officials. CSPP also held a press conference in Washington to release the paper. The group emphasized the need for policymakers to promote next-generation broadband deployment, both wired and wireless.
