Food delivery services are really taking off. I like GrubHub.com. It is easy to use from the iPhone, there are little or no delivery charges, and you can put a tip of your registered credit card. Uber has now moved into this market with Uber Eats. I gave it a try tonight while my wife is at a garden group dinner. The Indian vegetarian restaurant had some great choices I had not seen before. The food was excellent. What surprised me was Uber Eats charged a $4.99 booking fee, and then later I got the normal Uber ride charge, which was $9.13. The total fees exceeded the meal. I will stick with GrubHub.
